Side Discharge Silencers

EDCO USA straight through silencers quiet the exhaust of air-powered vacuum pumps by allows the air flow to more fully expand before exiting the silencer.

Any ingested debris will pass through the silencer and the smooth internal bore will not add restriction to pump exhaust.

Sintered brass or side-discharge are valve mufflers should never be used with air-powered vacuum pumps because performance decreases due to exhaust restriction and any ingested debris will accumulate inside the muffler, adding to even more restriction.
