The module accepts a standard midget fuse which is socket mounted under a protective cover secured in place by a screw. 

This makes it fully touch safe. Fuses rated up to 25 A can be used. A current transformer in series with the fuse drives an Analog meter that displays the load current. An external power supply is not required.
