NLC-Modified was developed to comply with an industry requirement to eliminate lead based products used for production tubing and well casing.

Increased environmental regulations called for the reduction of heavy metals on well sites.

NLC-Modified was formulated as a non-lead compound.

It contains powdered zinc and copper fines that control torque during make-up, provide a seal in the helix during production cycles, and ensure that break-out of connections will be clean and without galling.

This product has been blended as a standard compound and well as under private brand labeling for the larger E&P companies.
