Modbus Interface Unit

Flowserve IPS Wireless model ELD-FA-403-Serial Modbus is a communications processor that provides a communication and data interface acting as a slave to the customer host. Wireless transmitters communicate to the serial receiver, which then communicates this information to the Modbus Unit, which awaits read requests from the customer DCS. Logic, control and communication functions are provided by a micro controller computer. Use of system watchdog timers and auto-run features integrated into the hardware and multi-tasking operating system allows the ELD-FA-403-Serial Modbus to automatically continue operations following system interruption due to power outages.
